1970 – Certech Inc starts in New Jersey USA 

1983 – Certech expands to the UK and opens a plant in Corby 

1989 – Certech opens new facility in Pennsylvania USA 

1994 – Carpenter Technology Corporation purchases Certech 

1996 – Certech opens new facility in Mexico 

2000 – UK operation expanded with additional site in Derby 

2001 – US operation expanded with new facility opened in Twinsberg Ohio 

2008 – Morgan Crucible Company acquires the Certech business and incorporates into the Morgan Technical Ceramics division
